چکیده

Nitrogen doped carbon materials as electrodes of supercapacitors have attracted abundant attention. Herein, we demonstrated a method to synthesize N-doped macroporous carbon materials (NMC) with continuous channels and large size pores carbonized from polyaniline using multiporous silica beads as sacrificial templates to act as electrode materials in supercapacitors. By the nice carbonized process, i.e., pre-carbonization at 400 ◦C and then pyrolysis at 700/800/900/1000 ◦C, NMC replicas with high BET specific surface areas exhibit excellent stability and recyclability as well as superb capacitance behavior (~413 F·g−1) in alkaline electrolyte. This research may provide a method to synthesize macroporous materials with continuous channels and hierarchical pores to enhance the infiltration and mass transfer not only used as electrode, but also as catalyst somewhere microor mesopores do not work well.

High nitrogen-doped carbon/Mn3O4 hybrids synthesized from nitrogen-rich coordination polymer particles as supercapacitor electrodes.

High nitrogen-doped carbon/Mn3O4 composites were synthesized by annealing nitrogen-rich Mn-based coordination polymer particles, and investigated by electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, and electrochemical experiments. To assess the performance of high nitrogen-doped hybrids as electrode materials in supercapacitors, cyclic voltammetry and galvanostatic charging-discharging measurements are ...

Nitrogen-doped amorphous carbon-silicon core-shell structures for high-power supercapacitor electrodes

We report successful deposition of nitrogen-doped amorphous carbon films to realize high-power core-shell supercapacitor electrodes. A catalyst-free method is proposed to deposit large-area stable, highly conformal and highly conductive nitrogen-doped amorphous carbon (a-C:N) films by means of a direct-current plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition technique (DC-PECVD). This approach exploit...

Facile synthesis of bowl-shaped nitrogen-doped carbon hollow particles templated by block copolymer “kippah vesicles” for high performance supercapacitors†

This paper reports a simple self-assembly strategy towards bowl-shaped carbon-containing hollow particles, as well as an unprecedented potential application for block copolymer vesicles in energy storage. Kippah vesicles (fully collapsed vesicles), formed by solution self-assembly of an amphiphilic polystyreneblock-poly(ethylene oxide) block copolymer, were employed as the template to guide the...

Carbon black-intercalated reduced graphene oxide electrode with graphene oxide separator for high-performance supercapacitor

We present a general study on a high performance supercapacitor based on intercalated reduced graphene oxide with carbon black nanoparticles. Graphene oxide sheets were synthesized by oxidation and exfoliation of natural graphite and were reduced using hydroiodic acid in the presence of carbon black nanoparticles. Graphene paper was fabricated by one-step procedure via simultaneous reducing and...
